The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Threat Assessment Unit recognizes that fraud, scams, and cons can occur in a variety of ways. All age groups are affected by this crime. Your best defense against a worthless scheme is to ask yourself. “Does it sound too good to be true?” If the answer is “yes”, then it probably is.  Our VAST (Volunteers Against Scams Team) Unit is available to address your group on the latest fraud and scam crimes and will teach you how to avoid becoming a victim.
