PBSO Arrest Man Playing Cops

Although we are honored to be an example to follow, this crossed the line.

On Sunday, we spotted a suspicious black & white (police style) vehicle driving near Lake Avenue and North Dixie Highway. The man turned on a police-style siren and spotlight behind another vehicle, attempting to pull the vehicle over.

The deputy witnessed this vehicle with the word POLICE in large letters on the trunk. Our deputy immediate became suspicious and initiated a traffic stop on the police-style vehicle.

The deputy made contact and observed the male driver to be wearing a full duty style law enforcement gun belt which included: a gun, handcuffs, stun gun, flashlight, expandable baton, shirt with a badge style logo and a baseball hat with a US flag, with a thin blue line. The suspect’s vehicle was equipped with functional lights (green & white) and sirens.

Further investigation determined that Raul Aranda Guillen was not a law enforcement officer.

He was arrested on two charges for Impersonating a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

Palm Beach County you know what to do. ANYONE who has any information or may have been a victim of Raul Aranda Guillen is URGED to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
