Lt. Seth Perrin
Welcome to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 12 website. I am Lieutenant Seth Perrin and I am honored to serve the citizens of Pahokee. As a native of Kentucky, I relocated to Palm Beach County in 2005. The experience of being raised in a small town has given me a unique perspective and a true insight into the concerns of the residents, as well as the community as a whole.
Throughout the course of my 20-year career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, I have served in various roles. My career began as a law enforcement recruit, leading to a road patrol deputy in District 7, Boca Raton. Afterwards, I worked in several positions within the Traffic Division before serving in the Court Services Division. After being promoted to sergeant, I supervised road patrol deputies in District 4, Delray Beach and was later selected to lead the Sheriff’s Office Reserve and Auxiliary Unit. Additionally, I oversaw Delray Beach’s Community Policing team and Bicycle Unit.
After this period, I moved into a supervisor role for the Motor Unit, DUI Unit and Vehicle Homicide Unit. As a promoted Lieutenant, I was responsible for supervising the Glades Region of Palm Beach County as a midnight Watch Commander.
Beyond my law enforcement experience, I completed my graduate program at Barry University receiving a Master of Public Administration. I have also completed the FBI-LEEDA “Trilogy” series which is designed to provide a comprehensive leadership education for law enforcement supervisors.
