“I love that I can help people every single day during their tragedies or emergencies and we can make a difference in Palm Beach County.”

Brittney Hamblet

“I get to work when things are happening, so I gain valuable experience — and that’s what I’m able to pass on to my trainees.”

Monique Lewis

WHAT WE DO

Our Communications Officers are the first voice in an emergency and a vital link in the chain of lifesaving response.

We answer and assess 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls, and dispatch Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies to incidents. When needed, we quickly connect callers to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue or partnering agencies.

We monitor radio traffic, share critical information, and provide updates to deputies that keep our community and first reponders safe.
