Detectives Investigate a Drive By Shooting in the City of Belle Glade

Location: 400 block of South West D Road, Belle Glade

Suspects driving a Range Rover discharged their firearm at two unknown persons standing in the 400 block of South West D Road. Flying bullets struck an older model Chevrolet SUV grazing an 8 year old female sitting inside the vehicle. The child was treated and released on scene. An active search was conducted for the suspect(s). All efforts were exhausted. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division will investigate further.
