Visual Skills Training at PBSO.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office partnered with optometry physician, Dr. Larry Lampert, to train PBSO volunteers with skills to improve their vision. It is hoped that by using vision skills born on baseball fields, golf courses and tennis courts, volunteers will be safer, while on the job at PBSO.

Palm Beach County’s Main Detention Center and West Detention Center Awarded National Accreditation.

On February 9, 2015, Commission on Accreditation for Corrections (CAC) announced the accreditations of the Palm Beach County’s Main Detention Center and West County Detention Center of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
