School Crossing Guard Appreciation Day

Today, we honored our Crossing Guards who make sure our children get to and from school safely. We put our children in their hands daily and they don’t get enough recognition for it. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw addressed our Crossing Guards this morning and thanked them for their commitment to the children of Palm Beach County and for not having any serious incident or injury in the last 25 years. This speaks volumes of our team.  

FHP Trooper Shot in Cold Blood

Our Deepest Condolences to the family and friends of Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock who was senselessly shot and killed yesterday. Our hearts are broken but they are with our Brothers and Sister of the FHP. Today, our Honor Guard lowered the Flag at our Headquarters to half-mast. Officers from Belgium and France visit PBSO

Officers from Belgium & France visited the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office to experience law enforcement training in the U.S. The goal was to exchange best practices, tactics as well as our differences in police cultures. We learned lots & we hope our brothers from Belgium and France did as well.
