Leconte was arrested for First Degree Murder along with additional charges.

On April 7, 2021, deputies responded to an altercation that took place between to males in the 4000 block of Venus Ave, West Palm Beach. Upon arrival deputies learned that the altercation resulted in one male being transported to the hospital with a head injury.

In 1995, the 14-year-old victim was at her school bus stop when the suspect offered her a ride to school. Instead, he drove elsewhere and sexually assaulted her. Almost 24-years later, the suspect is in custody with the help of the US Marshals Task Force. The suspect will face a Palm Beach County Judge in the morning. We can only hope the victim is one step closer to recovery.

Fugitive Michelson Janvier was found GUILTY on all counts, including two counts of Public Assistance Fraud and two of Fraudulent Use of Personal Identification. He is currently facing a total of 85 years in prison if the maximum sentence is imposed for all charges.
