An unknown male was captured on surveillance video breaking into vehicles in the 5500 block of Adair Way, Lake Worth. This incident occurred on October 11, 2016 at 3:50 am. Melanie Eam was located in the Maryland area.

Melanie Eam was located in the Maryland area on Friday, November 18, 2016. Detectives traveled to Maryland and conducted an interview with her. At that time probable cause for her arrest was developed. An arrest warrant was signed overnight and Eam was arrested, today, in Maryland by local authorities with our PBSO detectives assistance. She will be in custody of Maryland authorities awaiting extradition back to Palm Beach County.

For unknown reasons suspect(s) took a 6ft by 10ft, holiday lawn (“JOY”) sign, from Hoffman’s Chocolates. Detectives believe the dark colored truck was a Chevy Avalanche.
