Seeking the Public Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspects

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery at GameStop. On December 22, 2023, the suspects entered the store located in the 1200 block of Northlake Blvd, Lake Park, and inquired about purchasing a PlayStation 5 console. When an employee presented the console, one suspect snatched it from the employee's hands and both suspects immediately fled.

5 Year Anniversary – Homicide in Lake Park

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2019, at about 11:11 a.m., a shooting occurred in the area of Laurel Drive and Flagler Boulevard within the city of Lake Park. Unfortunately, the victim, Jonathan White, was shot and killed and the suspect(s) fled the area in a black SUV.

Shooting/Homicide in Belle Glade – October 16, 2024

PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 200 block of SW 5th Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds and a second adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. The injured male was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on the scene, investigating this double shooting as a homicide. Currently, details about suspects and motives are unknown.

Shooting/Homicide that Occurred in Belle Glade – October 15, 2024

PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting incident in the 800 block of SW Avenue B, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on the scene, investigating the incident as a homicide. Currently, details about suspects and motives remain unclear. PBSO is Reaccredited with “Excelsior” Status by Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc.

In July of this year (2024), four experienced law enforcement professionals trained as assessors were selected by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. to conduct an assessment of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. This assessment looked at our policies, procedures, practices, and facilities to determine compliance with 235 Commission standards. Update – Detectives Investigate at Double Homicide on Canal Street, Belle Glade

Shortly before 10:00 pm, last evening, deputies responded to a shooting at 27 Canal Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate this double shooting/double homicide further. No suspect or motive is known at this time. Suspect wanted for stealing a bicycle from a residence

Shooting/Homicide that occurred in Unincorporated Lake Worth

After further investigation, three suspects were identified and arrested on charges of first-degree murder. Suspects Spencer Privert and Wilmer Barahona are currently detained at Palm Beach County Jail. The third suspect, Anthony Jennings, was apprehended in Hillsborough County and is being held there on local charges. Palm Beach County has placed a hold on Jennings; once his local charges are resolved, he will be transferred to Palm Beach County to face the first-degree murder charges.
