Deputies Eckes, Metz and Parrales assisted the Monjaraz family by providing them with a new refrigerator. D/S Eckes met the Monjaraz family during a call for service at their residence. During the call, D/S Eckes discovered the Monjaraz family was enduring financial hardship. The economic distress kept the family from replacing the refrigerator, preventing the preserving/storing of perishable foods due to the malfunctioning refrigerator. PBSO Deputies from District 7 help a family in the Glades who recently lost their home due to fire. A Hispanic family of 7 members has lost everything a week ago within the 715 Trailer Park area. Deputy Brown and members of his HOA, teamed up to gather much needed clothing and bedding supplies. Each year members of “Beat the Heat” program travel from all parts of the country for the annual member’s meeting and the World Finals race. Palm Beach County was selected as the host for 2015. Activities start on the 26th…see the attached flyer. The annual event ends with a race on November 28th at Palm Beach International Raceway. We invite you to come out and support Palm Beach County and Florida members as they compete against the rest of the country.

Detectives are Investigating a Suspicious Death

Time: Just before midnight Location: 200 block of S. Military Trail, WPB Deputies responded to a deceased male/pedestrian/bicyclist lying on the side of the road in the 200 block of South Military Trail, WPB. It is unknown at this time HOW this male succumbed to his death. Vehicle Homicide Investigators and Violent Crimes Detectives have conferred and are determining this death to be suspicious.
