Further investigation into the shooting that occurred Saturday, February 27, 2021, led to a suspect, Joseph Hamilton.  Hamilton was arrested by PBC Violent Crimes Division detecitves Tuesday, March 2, 2021 for First Degree Murder.  He was transported to the PBC Jail and booked. He will be attending first appearance this morning, March 3, 2021.

The victim, name withheld due to enaction of Marsy’s Law, succumbed to his injuries on March 2, 2021.

Location:     1400 block of Lakeview Drive E, Royal Palm Beach

Deputies responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Lakeview Drive E, RPB.  Upon arrival deputies located a male suffering from a gunshot wound(s).  The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  His condition is unknown.

Detectives from the Violet Crimes Division are in route to investigate further.

No suspect or motive is known at this time.
