On Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 10:00 am, PBSO Special Investigations Division began an investigation into a missing adult female. During the course of the investigation, detectives suspected foul play and contacted the VCD Homicide Unit to assist further. Further investigation led detectives to Lake Worth Tri-Rail Station where a parked vehicle was located with a deceased female, Eullaia Castellon, DOB: 8/21/1991, inside.  VCD Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.

Jose Castellon Jimenez, DOB: 8/05/1982, was identified as the suspect.  On the day of the homicide detectives learned he fled to El Salvador.

On April 25, 2024, Jose Castellon Jimenez was located and arrested in El Salvador. Interpol/Extradition was completed. Today, May 13, 2026, Jose Castellon Jimenez was extradited back to Palm Beach County.
