Problem solving efforts include undercover operations regarding vice-type crimes, surveillance, high visibility/high saturation directed patrols, vehicle safety check points,

Detectives: Under the supervision of a Sergeant, these 5 plain-clothes law enforcement officers provide in-depth case investigation primarily in the areas of property crimes. They also provide follow-up for the initial investigating patrol officer on complex cases, conduct surveillances and self-initiated investigations, gather intelligence, conduct detailed interviews/interrogations of victims/witnesses/suspects, and perform any other appropriate and necessary law enforcement functions as required.
