PBSO West Detention Center deputies attended Career Day at Gove Elementary in Belle Glade.
The Deputies engaged with students in various activities such as introducing themselves in Spanish and educated the students about the role of Sheriff’s Office deputies with an interactive worksheet.

That’s why we invited a group of home-schooled children to learn about what we do here at Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office and show them all the careers Law Enforcement has to offer them. National Corrections Officers Week

Did you know that this week is National Corrections Officers Week? This week we honor our men and women of corrections and today we gave them free massages sessions, goodie bags and breakfast to our Brave Men and Woman to show our appreciation. These amazing men and women are not just working to keep everyone safe, they are role models to these inmates in a critical time in their lives.

Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo

PBSO brings home the win for this year’s Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo. The Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo is an annual police motorcycle skills competition that benefits children of fallen officers. More than 170 law enforcement motorcycle riders participated. Operation Strike Heat nets 60 Arrests

Operation Strike Heat nets 60 arrests for Weapons, Drugs, and Driving Charges. The operation concentrated on crime offenses of narcotics (trafficking and sales), firearms, burglaries, robberies, and gang activity.
It took place in the north end of Palm Beach County last weekend, April 12th & 13th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Bomb Squad Easter Egg Hunt 2019
We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend, our Bomb Squad was busy making a special beeping Easter Egg Hunt for visually impaired children in Palm Beach County. We partnered up with the Lighthouse for the blind and The International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators to make a memorable Easter Egg Hunt for the community.
