Hurricane Dorian
Sep. 4, 2019 PBSO Volunteers and Community Outreach Deputies went out on Operation Team Senior Check this afternoon at Century Village in West Palm Beach to do Welfare checks on our Senior Citizens and make sure they were OK after hurricane Dorian. Palm Beach County shelters housed almost 3,000 residents during#HurricaneDorian. We thank the many deputies who were out there making sure everyone was safe & sound. This year, close to 300 people have died in mass shootings around the country. One thing we have all learned is that it could happen anywhere, at any time. That is why The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, continuously and methodically, trains our men and women to prepare for such tragic events.
