Detective Clarence “Bud” Backherms will be honored tomorrow during our Annual Fallen Deputy Memorial along with the rest who made the ultimate sacrifice serving Palm Beach County.

Honoring Fallen COVID-19 Heroes

We honor those on the front lines of this pandemic for their heroic sacrifices. Since the start of the pandemic, we have lost over 80 law enforcement officers around the country from contracting the virus in the line of duty. They left their families to protect ours. FHP Trooper Shot in Cold Blood

Our Deepest Condolences to the family and friends of Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock who was senselessly shot and killed yesterday. Our hearts are broken but they are with our Brothers and Sister of the FHP. Today, our Honor Guard lowered the Flag at our Headquarters to half-mast.
