We believe identity theft can be prevented! We joined Shred-It to host a free document shredding event at West Boynton Community Park. We had over 18,000 pounds of documents shredded. A special thanks to Corporal Natasha Mitchell and the Santaluces High School Criminal Justice Students who volunteered their time and energy.

The Citizen’s Police Academy provides a mechanism for educating the public about the criminal justice system. The main goals of the academy are to partner with the community, explain the operations of the Sheriff’s Office and encourage citizens to undertake measures to prevent crime victimization. Participants also tour the Sheriff’s Facility including Communications and the Jail.
