Sheriff Bradshaw testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Red Flag Laws and the guidelines for state action. Among other topics, he pointed out that prevention and intervention are key factors to resolving gun violence. PBSO is on the forefront with our Behavioral Services Unit.

Active Shooter Situations

In light of the tragic event that took place this week in Ventura County, PBSO would like to remind everyone what we can do during an Active Shooter situation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, victims and everyone else affected with the recent shooting, especially the officer from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office who was killed in the line of duty protecting his community from this senseless act.
