Location:    1000 block of SW Ave I, Belle Glade

Late Saturday evening, October 21, 2023, deputies responded to a shot spotter activation in the 1000 block of SW Ave I, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, three juvenile males ages; 15, 15, and 16, were located suffering from gunshot wounds.  All three males were transported to a local hospital for treatment.  A short time after arrival, one of the 15 year old males died from his injuries.  Marsy’s law has been invoked.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division, Gang Unit, arrived on scene to investigate further.  No suspect or motive is known at this time.
