PBSO Deputy is Ambushed and Assaulted Last Night

One of our Deputies was ambushed and assaulted last night. $5,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.

On Sunday, August 13, 2017, at approximately 12:30 am, a PBSO Deputy was conducting a business check in the alleyway of 1011 7th Ave South, Lake Worth. The deputy was flagged down by an unknown black male in the alleyway. Upon making contact with the male suspect, the Deputy was ambushed and struck on the right side of his face with a blunt object which was later determined to be a shank/nail. The Deputy was transported to the hospital and was treated and released. The suspect is described as a Black Male, 5’8″, slim build, scruffy beard/facial hair, black shirt with white letters/logo on front, unknown color denim shorts. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen running eastbound from 1011 7th Avenue South (across of South H Street). There is a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest.
