District 12 – Pahokee

Active Shooter Training Video

In light of the tragic events, we want to remind everyone what they can do during an Active Shooter situation.

Welcome to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 12, City of Pahokee website.

I am grateful and honored to be selected as your Law Enforcement Commander of the City.  Our Administrative Offices are located at 38840 SR 80, Belle Glade Florida.

I was born in Mandeville Jamaica and lived in Pahokee (Pelican Lake) from 1972-1979.   There is where the core valued concept of “it takes a village” became reality and respected.  My overall non-wavering vision for the City of Pahokee is to continue building relationships with the community.  I was a Community Policing Sergeant for the Glades area from 2013-2016.   My Team and I made it a priority to build bridges and close the gap when it came to building strong community relations.  I believe there is nothing more fulfilling when we can come together as a team to reach our goals for the community we live in and serve. Throughout my professional and educational career I have acquired those core values that will benefit the community of Pahokee.

I have been in Criminal Justice since 1992.  I began my career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division.  There I acquired strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and decision making skills that have prepared me throughout  my years in Law Enforcement.  In 1994 I achieved my desire for Road Patrol.  There I was able to grow and mature as a deputy.  I have served in various rolls (Road Patrol Deputy, Road Patrol Training Corporal, Road Patrol Sergeant, Operational Watch Commander (Lieutenant) for the Southern Palm Beach County Communities.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Barry University.  To build on my skills and competence in Law Enforcement, I attended the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy courses of Supervisory, Command, and Executive Leadership.  I also Graduated from the 141th Administrative Officers Course at the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville, Louisville Kentucky.

I look forward to an inspired team effort from executive leaders, sworn and non- sworn personnel, and members of the community in our quest to reach optimal success.
As the Commanding Officer of District 12, I thank you for the opportunity to continue serving our community.
