Single engine aircraft hard landing – Deputies and PBC FR respond

Time:           4:00 pm
Location:     16000 block of Hawker Lane, Wellington
Deputies and PB Fire Rescue personnel responded to a single engine plane that landed, hard, in the 16000 block of Hawker Lane, Wellington, Aero Club.  The occupant got out of the aircraft entered a golf cart and traveled home.  PBC Fire Rescue personnel located the adult male, at his home, and is treating him for minor injuries.  Further investigation will be conducted by NTSB.

Friends and relatives of Delray Beach, Florida resident, Jean Savage, and even retired PBSO law enforcement officials were relieved to hear the unexpected news.
This was the heartbreaking case of Jean Savage, who was murder on a a gloomy afternoon in 1975.
