PBSO was involved in a Deputy Involved Shooting that occurred on Evergreen Drive and 9th Street, Lake Park. PBSO TAC Units had probable cause to affect an arrest on a felony suspect that was seen driving, in a red vehicle, in the area of Evergreen Drive and 9th Street, Lake Park. At approximately 4:00 pm units attempted to affect a traffic stop on a vehicle when the suspect exited the vehicle immediately firing at deputies as he was attempting to flee. ...
Update – PBSO Investigates and overnight Double Shooting Resulting in a Homicide * Suspect ARRESTED
Shortly after midnight deputies responded to a double shooting that stemmed from an altercation in the 500 block of N Redwood Drive, Lake Park. Upon arrival deputies learned that one male was transported to a local hospital for treatment and another male was located a short distance away deceased in the city of West Palm Beach.
Seeking to Identify a Suspect Wanted for using Stolen Credit Cards at Lake Park stores
Media Advisory Suspect wanted for using stolen credit cards at a local stores in Lake Park, Palm Beach County. This unknown female used the victim’s stolen credit cards at Walmart, Target and Publix stores on February 12, 2021 and February 13, 2021. It is believed she fled in a black Toyota Camry. Detectives are hoping someone can identify this female. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
School Traffic Initiative Has a Good Start
Our School Traffic Initiative is off to a good start. Drivers can either slowdown when passing by a school zone or we’ll be there as a reminder. Just to give you an example, in the Town of Lake Park alone, we have given out 58 citations and 159 written warnings.Operation Strike Heat nets 60 Arrests
Operation Strike Heat nets 60 arrests for Weapons, Drugs, and Driving Charges. The operation concentrated on crime offenses of narcotics (trafficking and sales), firearms, burglaries, robberies, and gang activity. It took place in the north end of Palm Beach County last weekend, April 12th & 13th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
