Deputies Hand Out Donated Shoes

These little boys from Pahokee have one thing in common – their love for football! Our deputies distributed donated football cleats to use during practice and their games. We want to thank In Jacob’s Shoes for the donation.

Helping Start a New Schoolyear

We might not be able to get back this high school freshman the shoes or book-bag they stole from him, but our deputies pooled their money together to buy him a new pair of shoes. Also, through a generous donation from Bridges of PBC, he was able to get a new backpack with school supplies.

911 Dispatchers – Heroes Behind The Headset

A Dispatcher is the calm voice on the other side of the phone during scary situations. These professionals, who gather essential information from callers to get them immediate assistance, many times don’t even know the outcomes of the many lives they save. This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week (April 15-April 19th) during which we honor our dispatchers and thank them for their services.
This video is a day in the life of a dispatcher.
