Horse gone swimming

This poor horse fell into the pool yesterday. Around 12:30pm we got the call and luckily our Deputy on the scene was there to calm the horse down before Palm Beach County Fire Rescue removed him from pool. This deputy has 22 days left before retiring.

911 Dispatchers – Heroes Behind The Headset

A Dispatcher is the calm voice on the other side of the phone during scary situations. These professionals, who gather essential information from callers to get them immediate assistance, many times don’t even know the outcomes of the many lives they save. This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week (April 15-April 19th) during which we honor our dispatchers and thank them for their services.

Today, our “People Helping People” team donated over 300 tote bags with hygiene products for homeless veterans.
Everybody deserves a helping hand, especially those who have served to protect us at St. Ann’s Place. This was an effort from our deputies, as well as the PBCS Foundation who donated the bags.
