Swimming Safety Book Launch

Swimming is fun, but we have to do it safely. We recently had a children’s book launch of, “Gaspar’s Big Day.” An illustrated children’s book that talks about safety tips when going out to swim. We’d like to thank Sheriff Ric Bradshaw’s wife, Dorothy, for reading the new book to local school children.

That’s why we invited a group of home-schooled children to learn about what we do here at Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office and show them all the careers Law Enforcement has to offer them. See Something, Say – Don’t Pick up – Something

‪A person found a suspicious package with a white substance outside his residence AND he picked it up and brought it to PBSO HQ. We were immediately put on lockdown. The unknown substance did have a trace amount of a dangerous substance. See something suspicious? DON’T TOUCH IT. Just call 911.

Today, we promote #WorldAutismAwarenessDay in recognition and support of children and adults living with autism.The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office holds Autism-related events throughout the year to introduce those on the Autism spectrum and their families to Law Enforcement officers.
