Vehicle-1 travelling southbound within the outside lane of US 441 South, approaching the intersection of Kimberly Road. Vehicle-2 was lawfully travelling westbound on Kimberly Road, attempting to traverse the intersection of US 441 South, under a green traffic signal. Around 5:04 pm, PBSO deputies assigned to the airport, PBSO Bomb & Arson detectives and FBI agents responded to concourse C where a passenger made a verbal threat that he had a bomb in his bag(s). Murder/Suicide in Wellington

Update: The family has rescinded Marys’s Law. The victim has been identified as Brittany Carter, DOB: 11/20/1988.  Shortly after 5:00 pm, deputies responded to a double shooting/homicide in the 2100 block of Balsan Way, Wellington. New Security Plan for High School Football Games

PBC Superintendent Fennoy meets with School Officials to craft a new Security Staffing plan for PBC High School Football Games. Saturday morning kickoffs for the biggest games of the season will start at 6 PM instead of 7 PM. Only clear bags will make it through the gates. For those who leave mid-game, you will have to buy another ticket. Thankfully, no students were or injured in Friday’s horrific shooting incident.
