ACCREDITATION TEAM INVITES PUBLIC COMMENTS ABOUT THE PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw announced today that a team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) will arrive July 10, 2018 to examine all aspects of the Sheriff’s Office policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has to comply with approximately 260 standards in order to receive accredited status.  Many of the standards are critical to life, health and safety issues.

We are seeking the community’s assistance to identify this baby found Friday, June 1st on the ocean side of the Boynton Beach Inlet.

Deputy Helps Deliver Baby

On his way to work, Deputy Breslin had no idea he was going to have one of the most unforgettable shifts of his career. He helped a couple deliver a newborn who were on their way to the hospital. Thanks to the fast response of our deputy, the baby boy was born healthy on May 25th at 5:25 PM. The family couldn’t be any happier and grateful. Our entire PBSO family welcome Baby Charlie.

We want to know if there are more victims out there of Dwight Castaldi.
Don’t worry, he is behind bars tonight.
Huntington Beach police have charged Dwight Castaldi, DOB: 11/21/75, of Palm Beach Gardens, with allegations of sexual misconduct with a 13-year-old girl from Huntington Beach. Castaldi is facing charges including luring a child with intent to commit a crime and lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14.

PBSO Arrest Assisted Living Home Owner on Elder Abuse Charges

On April 20, 2018, detectives from the Special Victims Unit assisted the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regarding an allegation of elderly abuse/neglect.
The investigation determined that Bhoodram Parsaram left the residents that live in the 24 hour assisted living facility overnight, unattended and restrained.
The assisted living facility is located in the 1100 block of Wynnewood Drive, unincorporated West Palm Beach.

PBSO Deputy Gifts AC to Family of Four

Help us give this Deputy a round of applause! Deputy Gregory responded to a call at a mobile home residence. There he discovered that the mobile home, which is home to a family of four kids, was without air conditioning.

The conditions inside the residence was hot and uncomfortable and summer is not even here.
Deputy Gregory took it upon himself to purchase two A/C units, a fan for the family and delivered it to them. Awesome job Deputy Gregory.

PBSO Deputies Replaces 9 Year Old Stolen Bike

Here’s a feel-good story for you.
We responded to a citizen’s complaint about her nine year old son who was robbed of his bicycle by force. Her son had just received the new bicycle as a gift two days prior. D/S Gerbasi quickly established a perimeter and utilized all available resources in the course of his investigation to include multiple K-9 Units and the aviation unit.
