This is Apache, the newest member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit. He’s a 13 year old Quarter Horse that was purchased by the Sheriff’s Foundation.

When PBSO Employee Michele Denski heard our community had a bee problem, she threw on her bee keeper gear and took care of the problem on her own time, collected the bees and transported them to a safe location. She not only solved a problem for our community, but acted as a dedicated conservationist. BEE proud, we’re proud!?
