At District 9 we are committed to service above self, and we dedicate our efforts and energies towards maximizing our quality of life in the Village of Royal Palm Beach in partnership with those we serve, and serve with. We accomplish this by empowering our deputies through the philosophies and practices of community policing, while working with all our community and government stakeholders in both traditional and non-traditional terms that prompt and encourage problem solving. Each deputy and supervisor in the Village of Royal Palm Beach is assigned a sector of responsibility beyond their normal cross district duties where they develop strategies and plans of action to combat crime and provide public service, while working in direct partnership with the community. We use real time analysis to identify crime trends and service delivery needs so our resources are maximized and used effectively. Our efforts are timely, and geared towards addressing root causes, and just not the symptoms of any given issue/challenge that affects the safety and well being of our community.

The members of District 9 are well equipped and trained to provide you professional and credible law enforcement services that are backed by the overall resources and personnel of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Problem solving is our way of doing business at all levels, and is accomplished in concert with the community we serve.

We stand at the ready to serve your needs, and ask that you join us in keeping the Village of Royal Palm Beach a wonderful place to live, work, and play.

Regards,

Capt. Tony Araujo
