A letter from the District Commander:
Welcome to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office website for District 10 – Town of Lake Park. I am Lieutenant Nick Vassalotti and it is an honor to serve the residents, businesses and visitors of this great community as the District Commander.
I was born and raised in Palm Beach County and worked with my family’s owned and operated business before my career change to law enforcement in the early 1980’s. I worked as a police officer for the Village of Palm Springs Public Safety Department and the Lake Clarke Shores Police Department before joining the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in 1988. I have received several accolades; specialized in Traffic Crash / DUI Investigations, Problem-Oriented Policing and Field Training. I have a broad education in many aspects of law enforcement including Police Management. I am currently attending Barry University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.
My priority is to serve and protect all citizens equally; maintaining a partnership with the community for the safety and security for all to live, work and visit the Town of Lake Park. My philosophy is working through problem oriented / community policing as I firmly believe that working together is the key to success.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this site. If you have any ideas to share or need any assistance, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
