District10 - Town of Lake Park

A letter from the District Commander:

Welcome to the website for District 10, Town of Lake Park. I am Lt. Chris Myers and it’s my privilege to serve as the Sheriff’s District Commander. I’m happy to lead the District 10 Team in protecting and serving its residents.

I am a native Floridian and have been serving the citizens of Palm Beach County since joining the Sheriff’s Office in 1981.  During my tenure, I have worked as a law enforcement officer in several divisions throughout the department including Corrections, Airport, Road Patrol, Mounted Unit, Internal Affairs, Traffic and Contracts. My most recent assignment, prior to joining District 10 team was serving as the Executive Officer in District 8, Wellington. I served for 3 years and was responsible for all operational aspects of the substation.  I hold an AA and BLS   Degree and have attended numerous law enforcement training courses in investigations, interviewing, fraud, leadership, ethics, public information, and many others.

I believe in creating and maintaining a strong partnership with the community while improving the quality of life for the citizens we serve which is a cornerstone function of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. I believe that it’s important for the citizens to feel comfortable with those that serve and protect their community and that they have faith and confidence that “we will” do everything in our power to be successful. District 10 has an outstanding and dedicated team in place and I believe in the community policing philosophy and believe we all should take pride in the Town of Lake Park. As a District, we will take ownership in problem solving with the citizens, volunteers, visitors and Town officials. I plan to continue in a positive direction by being responsive to the needs of residents and business owners within the Town of Lake Park.

I would like to thank you for visiting the District 10 website and invite you to browse and visit the various links to other valuable information and resources. If I may be of any further assistance to you, please email me at myersc@pbso.org.
