Beat the Heat Program

Beat the Heat is an educational, anti-street racing program. There are chapters throughout the United States. Our chapter is sanctioned by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office however all of the equipment and supplies are donated by local citizens and businesses.

Lt. Rey Alonso, from District 12, is a licensed race car driver, and manages the program. Should you want more information or to find out about sponsorship opportunities, contact Lt. Alonso.

Beat the Heat events are scheduled throughout the United States with local races at Palm Beach International Raceway. The truck, trailer, and equipment are available for display at local events and car shows.
