PBSO Remembers September 11th

Let’s pause to remember the thousands of people we lost 16 years ago. On September 11, 2001, over 400 first responders died in the line of duty while heroically putting the safety of others before their own. In a special way, this week, despite Hurricane Irma we remember those first responders, as well as all our fallen heroes who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty before, during and after that tragic day.

As a commitment to our “We Remember Campaign,” we created temporary flash tattoos in the shape of a feather. The feather was selected as a symbol for our organization because it represents hope and serves as a metaphor for our fallen heroes who continue to watch over us and keep our city safe. Let’s honor all those we lost and their families this month.
