When D/S Levey arrived he found a Chevrolet Impala engulfed in flames with thick smoke coming from the undercarriage. D/S Levey was advised by a female on scene that an adult male was unconscious inside the vehicle. D/S Levey approached the vehicle making several attempts to waken the unconscious male. Once the unconscious male came to he began to panic. D/S Levey used a knife to cut the males seat belt, pull him from the vehicle and assisted him to safety. D/S Levey re-approached checking for additional passengers. At that time, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames and began to explode.

D/S Levey displayed extreme courage and selflessness in saving the life of this driver.
