DRIVING FACILITIES
The Driving Facility includes an Air Conditioned classroom as well as outdoor training and practice areas.
A fully enclosed asphalt pad allows for a multitude of training scenarios. The facility is used for Mobile Field Force, Helicopter Operations, and other courses, as well as a multitude of driving courses from Police Motorcycle to Commercial Drivers License training. The driving pad also features an automatically irrigated skid-pad.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is fortunate to have three excellant training facilities at it's disposal. These locations vary as to their purpose and location.
The Headquarters of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is located at 3228 Gun Club Road in suburban West Palm Beach. This location is conveniently located adjacent to the Palm Beach International Airport and Interstate 95. For specific instructions refer to "How To Find Us".
There are several hotels in the immediate area for those attending training from out of town. The facilities at Headquarters include: 4 fully equipped classrooms, law library, armory, gymnasium, fully equipped weight room, and a dining facility that serves breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday.
HEADQUARTERS FACILITIES
The Gym includes a full padded mat. Our fully equipped Weight Room with state-of-the-art equipment.
