The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Eagle Academy is the first of its kind. It provides for decision-making processes and life skills experiences specifically designed for at-risk boys between the ages of thirteen (13) and sixteen (16).

Through the Eagle Academy experience the Sheriffs Office offers our youths in Palm Beach County a chance to experience a challenging residential environment of unlimited professional and personal growth. The Eagle Academy is a residential 100-bed facility staffed by law enforcement and professional staff.

The program services consist of Phase One (1) which is a military model in self-esteem and team building; Phase Two (2) personal growth, life skills training and vocational and educational skills development; Phase Three (3) an after care follow-up process. Each Phase is a 3-month process with an overall mission to change youth behavior and reduce criminal involvement in the community, at school and/or in the home.

  • Must be age 13-16
  • Must be a Palm Beach County Resident
  • No prior felony conviction (non-adjudicated)
