Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Department of Corrections Visitation Rules and Procedures

1. Procedures are applicable to all Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Correctional Facilities
2. All individuals incarcerated in the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Corrections Facilities will be permitted visitation following first appearance or upon assignment to a permanent housing unit., Visitation will only be permitted based on the names provided on the PBSO Authorized Visitation List. The Authorized Visitation List is submitted by the incarcerated individual and approved by the Sheriff's Office.
3. Only persons designated by the incarcerated individual and approved by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Department of Corrections will be permitted entry into the facilities for visitation purposes.
4. Any person with a felony conviction within the last twenty-four (24) months or confined, due to a felony conviction, in a correctional facility within the last twelve (12) months will not be allowed entry into any facility for visitation purposes..
5. Each inmate will be allowed a maximum of three visitors (including children) per visit.
6. Persons not in compliance with the dress requirements will be denied entry. The dress requirements are listed below.
7. Contents of an inmate's authorized visitation list will not be divulged over the phone. All information must be obtained from the incarcerated individual or confirmed with visitation staff during visitation hours.
8. All visitors entering the facility will be subject to a warrants check. Visitors with outstanding warrants will be arrested.
9. Persons must have proper identification with them to enter. Acceptable forms of identification are: official state issued driver's license or identification card, military identification, foreign passport, foreign driver's license or foreign identification. All identification listed above must contain a photo and expiration date. Foreign passports must have an entry date stamp not more than 6 months or an I-94 form. No other forms of identification will be accepted.
10. Visitation sign-in times are strictly enforced. No exceptions. There is no visitation for temporary housing units.
11. Incarcerated individuals may be re-housed at anytime. We encourage all visitors to check the booking blotter located on the PBSO website to verify cell location prior to visitation. You may also contact prisoner information at (561) 688-4340. Visitation schedules are listed below for all facilities.
12. Visitation privileges may be restricted for an incarcerated individual.

DRESS REQUIREMENTS

VISITORS WEARING COATS, JACKETS, SWEATERS, ETC. MUST WEAR PROPER ATTIRE UNDER THESE ITEMS.

Visitors will be denied entry if they are not appropriately clothed or are dressed in revealing attire.

Examples of inappropriate attire are:

• Miniskirts
• See-through clothing
Tank or Halter tops
• Short-shorts
• Underwear type tee shirts
• Swimsuits
• Any article of clothing with profane pictures or language

All persons desiring a visit will adhere to the following:

• Hats, scarfs, bandanas, sun-visors, etc. are not permitted.
• All attire must at least be short sleeved and fully cover the shoulders, back and mid-section.
• Dresses, skirts, Bermuda-length shorts more than three inches (3") above the knee are not permitted.
• Shoes are mandatory
