It's an honor and a privilege to be assigned as the Commander of Central Records and the Alternate Response Unit (ARU). The Central Records Division is a large, complex, and integral part of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. The Division has fifty-six (56) employees located in five (5) geographical locations: Headquarters, Belle Glade, The Village of Royal Palm Beach, The City of Lake Worth, and The City of Greenacres. The Central Records Division has many responsibilities and functions. The Division is the main repository of records for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Also, Central Records processes and maintains all booking data records, all supplemental data for police reports, and audio/visual reproductions. A majority of public records requests are sent to Central Records for review and fulfillment. In addition Central Records is responsible for reviewing and processing the annual and semi-annual uniform crime report to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. - Police Records (Criminal, Informational and Accident reports)
Central Records professional staff members are dedicated to serving the citizens and visitors of Palm Beach County with the highest level of customer service. They strive to be responsive to customers' needs while following Florida's Public Records Laws.
