Detectives from PBSO Adopt Shooting from Palm Springs Police Department

Officers from the Palm Springs Police Department were dispatched to a shooting in the 3600 block of South Congress Ave, Palm Springs. Upon arrival officers learned that a female was struck by a bullet in the torso. The female was currently a passenger in a vehicle sitting in the McDonald’s drive through. The driver of the vehicle immediately drove the victim to a local hospital to be treated. The victim is currently expected to survive.

After investigating further Palm Springs police determined that the bullet was possibly shot from across the street which is in the jurisdiction of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are currently on scene and will be investigating this shooting further.

At this time there is no motive or suspect information known.
