The Death Investigation of Darryl Rudolph

Deputies responded to Sugar D’s Adult Club in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival the victim, Darryl Rudolph, B/M, 7/11/61, was found inside a back storage room of the club with a gunshot wound to the back/neck area.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported Rudolph to St. Mary Medical Center, where he later died.

The investigation determined that Mr. Rudolph was at the club repairing items that needed repair.

The gunshot came from an adjacent room when another coworker was moving a firearm off of a shelf.

This was not and intentional shooting. The investigation is active and ongoing.
