Every year, we gather a few deputies, volunteers, parents and children for our annual Shop with a Cop. As children arrived at Walmart, they were paired with officers and given shopping carts for them to pick whatever they wanted. They received their GED diplomas to help them re-enter back into society when they are released from jail. The GED Program is a second chance to get a High School Diploma.
