We have arrested these two for the monstrous murder of Twin Brothers, Brandon and Brian Allen. Jullian Cathirell and Darin Byrd were arrested over night on a warrant for First Degree Murder of Brandon and Brian Allen (twin brothers). Both will appear in first appearance Court this morning. PBSO Arrest Man for 1989 Killing

We are proud to announced that we solved a 27-year-old murder case. Cold Case detectives emphasizes, "Not Giving Up!" Today, detectives obtained an indictment charging Clarence Butler, DOB: 3/22/1955, of Pahokee, with First Degree Murder of Simmie Harris. Simmie Harris was stabbed multiple times by Butler in his apartment between July 4, 1989 and July 5, 1989. Butler was located, arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail. He will attend first appearance Friday morning.

PBSO Detectives are Investigating a Double Homicide

Two unidentified bodies were located in the 12000 block of Beeline Highway, Palm Beach Gardens. Deputies were dispatched to a brush fire. After the fire was extinguished by PBC Fire Rescue personnel two unidentified bodies were located. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate further. The two bodies have not been identified. What a great time and experience we had with these amazing Elementary students. On March 15, 2017, North Grade Elementary and South Grade Elementary concluded their Anti-Bullying Program. The last day of the 12 week program was attended by Mrs. Sheira, a representative from the Anti-Defamation League. The oldest case ever solved by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office takes a step closer to justice for the first time in four decades. Friends and relatives of Delray Beach, Florida resident, Jean Savage, and even retired PBSO law enforcement officials were relieved to hear the unexpected news. PBSO Reads to Children to Commemorate Dr. Seuss

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, District 14 was invited to read to the VPK class at Highland Elementary. Deputy Richard Toranzo read to the children the book “Green Eggs and Ham.” A total of 15 children attended the reading session. After reading, each student was provided an After School Safety coloring book, a mood color changing pencil, and a Junior Deputy Badge. Deputy Toranzo swore-in each child.
