“Conversation with a Deputy” at a Local Dunkin’ Donuts Store

Today, PBSO District 13 (Belle Glade) along with Executive Staff attended a “Conversation with a Deputy” at the local Dunkin Donuts store. The event was attended by over 100 individuals who were interested in talking with Deputies regarding issues that affect their community. The residents expressed gratitude for the effort of the Sheriff’s Office in organizing this outreach event. The outpour of support is a key component in creating a positive working partnership with the residents of Belle Glade.

Duran may be using the Alias: “Jorge Andres Parra Duran.” He is now 31 years old and was last seen in Keenland Circle, West Palm Beach. PBSO Busts Lake Worth Man for 1987 Shooting/Death of Wife

On July 23, 1987, at 7:45 p.m. deputies of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to 1614 Osborne Circle, Lake Worth after receiving a 911 call from the homeowner, James O'Neil. PBSO Investigates Shooting in Mangonia Park

Deputies responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of Australian Ave, Mangonia Park. Upon arrival deputies found a female shot. She was transported to a local hospital where she later passed away. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are investigating the shooting as a homicide. Detectives found evidence that an unknown suspect(s) fired a weapon through the sliding glass door striking the female inside. The motive of this shooting is unknown. PBSO Busts Suspect for Attempted First Degree Murder

Who remembers the shooting back in May, in unincorporated West Palm Beach (4600 block of Gardenette Road)? Apparently, this was a fight that got out of control. The victim ended up being transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. After further investigation, we were able to locate the suspect, Kenneth A. Murph, and arrested him today for Attempted First Degree Murder (Firearm) and Armed Robbery (Firearm). Keep them coming, team!

Operation Cops with Comics

Ben Savedow came to donate hundreds of comic books to our Deputies so that they could give it out to children that they encounter on the road. He wanted a way to connect Law Enforcement Officers with the youth of Palm Beach County. Ben hand selected all the comics and removed all the comics that used weapons or guns.
