TEAMWORK PAID OFF TODAY. PBSO Marine and Aviation Unit worked together to save a life.
Just before 2 am this morning, deputies from the Marine Unit were dispatched to a “man overboard” call 5 miles east of the Boynton Beach Inlet. Once they arrived and spoke with the complainant deputies learned a male occupant either jumped or fell from the vessel. PBSO Eagle helicopter was requested. Deputies Locate Suspect Wanted for Early Morning Home Invasion.

Two male suspects dressed in tactical/swat gear forced their way into a residence in the 17300 block of 72nd Rd North, Loxahatchee. Both males had gloves and masks and were armed with handguns. During the incident, the homeowner retuned home and confronted the suspects. The suspects took off and the homeowner followed them. The Passing of PBSO K-9 “Kenzo”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of PBSO K-9 “Kenzo”. He served heroically from 2006-2013 and was responsible for countless felony apprehensions, one of which K-9 Kenzo sustained a gunshot wound while apprehending a murder suspect. On June 4, 2012, K9 Kenzo located the suspect hiding and ready to ambush deputies. K9 Kenzo drew the suspect’s attention away from approaching deputies resulting in him being shot twice by the suspect before deputies could return fire.

Victim of Stolen Bicycle is Surprised By An Act of Kindness By Deputies

Deputies made a positive difference in a victims life today.  Mr. Clinton Hamilton is 72 years old and does not drive.  He relies on his bicycle to get him to and from his job at Crestwood Middle School.  When deputies learned he was a victim of a stolen bicycle they bought him a new bike, helmet and chain.  He could not believe the kindness!

PBSO Honor Guard Attend Funerals in Baton Rouge

PBSO Honor Guard members attended the fallen law enforcement officers’ funerals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Thousands of law enforcement officers from across the country and Canada gathered in Baton Rouge to honor the fallen heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice. There was a show of overwhelming support for these brave men that came from the community in which they served. Although the mood was somber, many residents gave their condolences and thanked those in uniform with handshakes, prayers and hugs.
