Two Busted Committing a Burglary During a State of Emergency

Deputies responded to residential alarm, in progress, in the 1400 block of Woodcrest Rd. North, in West Palm Beach. Upon arrival, a witness advised deputies that two males were seen carrying property from the home to an abandoned home in the area. A quick perimeter was established and two black males, one adult and one juvenile were apprehended.

Both suspects were in possession of a back pack full of screw drivers, pry bars, gloves and flashlights. The backpack also included property from another residence. Further investigation determined the suspects also burglarized a second home in the area (1300 block of Woodcrest Rd. W, WPB).

Carlos Silencieux, DOB: 11/01/98 and the juvenile, 17 years of age, were charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of grand theft greater than $300 but less than $5000, two counts of possession of burglary tools with the intent to use, and two counts of violation of county ordinance for committing a criminal act during a state of emergency with “conditions arising from the emergency.”
