Update – Traffic / DUI Saturation Patrol on Friday, September 2, 2022

Update

On 9/2/2022, from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office conducted a multi-agency Traffic/DUI Enforcement Initiative. This operation was conducted with the assistance of the following agencies:

  • Atlantis Police Department
  • Boynton Beach Police Department
  • Florida Atlantic University Police Department
  • Jupiter Police Department
  • Palm Beach Gardens Police Department
  • Palm Springs Police Department
  • Riviera Beach Police Department
  • Tequesta Police Department
  • West Palm Beach Police Department

The goal of this operation was to apprehend drivers who operate their vehicles while under the influence and/or drive in a reckless/unsafe manner. The area of operation was from S.R. 706 (Indiantown Road) to S.R. 806 (Atlantic Avenue) and from S.R. 7 (U.S. 441) to U.S. Highway 1.

During this operation, the following enforcement activity occurred:

  • 527 Traffic Stops
  • 17 DUI Arrests
  • 11 Misdemeanor Arrests
  • 73 Criminal Traffic Citations
  • 414 Traffic Citations
  • 279 Traffic Warnings

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Traffic / DUI Saturation Patrol on Friday, September 2, 2022 operating from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am.

Several agencies throughout the county will be participating in a traffic enforcement operation. The goal of this operation is to enforce all Florida State Statutes related to traffic violations and enhance safety for the traveling public.

The locations of the saturation patrol will range from Indiantown Road to Delray Beach.
