Just before 1:00 am on Sunday, August 14, 2016, deputies responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Joe Louis Ave, located in Pahokee. Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals with gunshot wounds. Both victims were airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center where one of the victim’s passed away from his injuries and the second victim is in critical condition.
