Recently we heard of a student who had fallen on extremely hard times due to the current inflation problems. She was struggling to pay the bills and had suddenly become homeless. All while trying to complete her dreams of becoming a corrections officer.

Once the Palm Beach College Criminal justice department found out, they sprang into action to assist her in any way possible. We were called to help as well and together, we were able to provide this recruit with the support she needed to find her a home again.

So on March 17th, Coordinators Mike Gugliotti and Alison Fry rolled up their sleeves with PBSO Sgt. Maldonado and former PBSC recruit graduate Deputy Rendueles to help her move into her new home.

We are hoping, she continues with her dreams of becoming a corrections deputy and officially join the ranks of the law enforcement community!
