Deputies responded to residential alarm, in progress, in the 1400 block of Woodcrest Rd. North, in West Palm Beach. Body Found After Lowering Water in a Canal in Southern PBC to Prepare for Hurricane Irma

On Saturday, September 9, 2017, deputies were alerted to a partially submerged vehicle located in a canal in southern Palm Beach County. The vehicle became uncovered in the canal as a result of the city or county lowering the water levels in preparation for Hurricane Irma’s landfall. A deceased person was found inside the vehicle. On September 13, 2017, shortly after noon, undercover deputies keeping an eye on a local businesses without power (Carnitas Deli & Grill - 2701 10th Ave North, Lake Worth), observed two suspects trying to gain entry into the business. Detectives are seeking to identify this man who burglarized 3M Discount Express located in the 600 block of S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
