Today, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw announced the addition of NARCAN to our deputies’ equipment. So now over 2000 sworn deputies will be trained to carry and use Narcan for opioid overdose emergencies. Our agency obtained Narcan from the Florida Department of Health’s HEROS (Helping Emergency Responders Obtain Support) Program at no cost.
