Deputies found a vehicle crashed into a residence and an adult male deceased. Brandon Cowins was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.

PBSO is investigating a Shooting/Death Investigation that occurred North BD I95 near Donald Ross Road. On February 19th, around 1:45pm there was an altercation between two adult male motorists that resulted in gunfire. Christopher Michael Maassen, 29 years of age, died on the scene. Deputies Help Deliver Gifts After Bus Crash
Our deputies responded to a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in the Glades involving a bus full of donated gifts for children. We did the only right thing to do in that situation and helped finish getting the gifts delivered to a nearby school.

U.S. DOT awards PBSO Grant
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration, to address railway trespassing in the City of Lake Worth Beach. The proposed project will address railway trespassing in the City of Lake Worth Beach, home to three miles of FEC railway and three miles of SFRTA/Tri-Rail Commuter railway, through enforcement activities and community awareness.
