Man Looting a Business During a State of Emergency

Detectives are seeking to identify this man who burglarized 3M Discount Express located in the 600 block of S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Once inside the suspect helped himself to cigarettes, lottery tickets and cash, totaling over $12,000. Suspects Almost Got Away With Burglarizing a Gun Business

Undercover deputies patrolling in the area of Zipcode Place, West Palm Beach, observed a suspicious box truck with no license plate attached driving in the area. Deputies observed the suspects wearing gloves, exit the truck and begin to canvass the area. A short time later the suspects reentered their vehicle and drove around the plaza. Busted for Stealing Musical Instruments During a State of Emergency.

Lavontte Williams is headed to jail for stealing musical instruments and equipment during a State of Emergency. Deputies patrolling in the 4600 block of N. Australian Ave, Mangonia Park, came across a white Mercedes SUV parked on the North side of Value Pawn and Jewelry with hurricane shutters (wooden boards) removed from the front of the business. Two Officers Killed in Hurricane Irma Evacuation Zone Crash.

Both officers had been required to stay in the county despite mandatory evacuations due to Hurricane Irma. Deputy Bridges was picking up supplies for a hurricane shelter when her patrol car collided head-on with Sergeant Ossman's vehicle. Sergeant Ossman was reporting for his shift at the Hardee Correctional Institution, which remained opened despite the evacuation. Sergeant Ossman had served with the Florida Department of Corrections for 21 years. Our deepest prayers and condolences go out the family.

PBC Jail Currently Housing Over 460 Monroe County Inmates

Shortly before noon on September 9, 2017, PBC Jail and West County Detention Facility received approximately 460 inmates and 60 employees (including deputies and medical staff) from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Over 40 Florida Highway Patrol Officers escorted the caravan of inmates and staff from Monroe County to Palm Beach County. The inmates and staff will reside in Palm Beach County until Monroe County is deemed safe to return.

14 years ago, Digna Santos, was killed while crossing the street on her way home, on the 5000 Block of Forest Hill Blvd. The person responsible, Jaime Madrid, left the 75-year old to die. A person who used to rent a room to Madrid believes he returned to his native country, Colombia, because he mentioned that’s what he would do once released. Armed Robbers Purse-Snatchers Suspects on the Loose

Does anyone recognize this face? He is one of the unknown males, armed with a weapon, who stole a victim’s purse as she was walking along the 4500 block of Kirk Road, Lake Worth. Community Policing Deputy Sherry Baker Mentors Boys from Broken Home

These two young Town of Lake Park boys come from a broken home in which both parents suffer from drug addiction. Their Grandparents have fought for the past three years to adopt them, which was recently granted. District 10 Community Policing Deputy Sherry Baker has worked with and mentored the boys over the years and recently presented them with this box of toys. The boys were very excited and thankful and have a fond relationship with Deputy Baker.
